The Playground (dive site)

A shallow, sunny beginner site in the middle of the inner bay, carpeted with starfish and loved by photographers for its visibility.
Practical
Coordinate is derived and approximate, the water roughly central between Isla Colón, Solarte and Carenero, where Tourism Panama places the site. Dive shops use their own buoys, so go with a Bocas operator or ask for the mark. Maximum depth 50 ft (15 m), beginner level, shallow dives with excellent visibility, and starfish (Tourism Panama). It is in the main water-taxi corridor, so fly a dive flag.
