Over 6 m (20 ft) all the way up the channel to the Tank Farm (Aruba Cruising Guide). Landmarks: the Coast Guard base; Zeerovers restaurant opposite the second beacon. In east winds the anchorage is downwind of the long-closed refinery, which still leaves a strong oily smell. Coordinate approx: inside the reef about 75 m off the OSM shoreline near Zeerovers; confirm the channel beacons by eye.
