Inside Port Royal's reef on Roatán's quiet east end, the Cow and Calf rock formations hold coral gardens. Small cays such as Lime and Conch Cay make lunch stops, close to the old pirate-fort cays.

OpenStreetMap maps Lime Cay (16.39893, -86.30882), Conch Cay (16.39625, -86.31696) and Fort Morgan Cay (16.40485, -86.28801) inside the Parque Nacional Port Royal. Paya Bay Resort's Port Royal tour snorkels the Cow and Calf coral gardens and serves lunch on one of the cays. Cruiser notes (about 2008) add the Blue Hole, the Horseshoe and a wreck off Fort George. Enter Port Royal only in good light with local waypoints, and cruise the east end with care (see the Port Royal Anchorage entry).
