Grace Bay Beach

21° 47.8′ N · 72° 10.6′ W

The headline beach of the Turks & Caicos — just over 3 miles of powder sand and calm turquoise water behind a barrier reef a mile offshore, repeatedly ranked among the world's best.

Practical

Free public accesses all along the beach. Calm in normal trades because the reef blocks the Atlantic swell; usually free of sargassum. Most resorts, restaurants and Graceway Gourmet are here. Part of Princess Alexandra National Park: no jet skis, no taking shells or coral. Approach by sea only via a reef cut and with local knowledge.
