Fisherman's Harbour Dinghy Dock (Spanish Water)
12° 5.1′ N · 68° 51.5′ W · approximate
The free cruiser dinghy landing at the northwest end of Spanish Water, next to the roundabout where the supermarket shuttle and the Willemstad buses stop.
Practical
Per Virgintino (2015): free, with 24-hour security; very crowded - leave a long painter, do not snug up; a bar at the harbour (owner Norman in 2015) took propane bottles on Fridays for return Mondays and had a washing machine (bring detergent); garbage bins across the road at the gates. The shuttle bus to Vreugdenhil supermarket and regular buses to Willemstad leave from the roundabout. Details from 2015 - verify current arrangements on the morning cruisers' net or with neighbours. Coordinate approx: placed at the NW head of Spanish Water near Kima Kalki Marina (OSM) per the guide's description; verify on arrival. Noonsite (August 2025): still free with 24-hour security, but crowded and thefts are common - use a long painter and a chain; garbage and used-oil bins near the dock; the free Vreugdenhil shuttle picks up here and Willemstad buses stop nearby. The alternative dinghy dock at the south end of zone C is unreliable.
