Carulla Supermarket (Manga)

10° 24.8′ N · 75° 32.4′ W

The cruisers' supermarket, two minutes' walk from Club Náutico: good produce, meat and poultry, an ATM inside, and packers who will often wheel your cart down to the marina.

Practical

OSM position (Carulla, Carrera 20, Manga); a 24-hour Carulla Express is also mapped on Carrera 17. ATMs just inside Carulla and at nearby Bancolombia (most cash machines give COP 600,000 per withdrawal). Lomo fino (beef or pork tenderloin) is a local bargain; canned goods are limited and wine and spirits are pricey in supermarkets. A good butcher is across the road; PCA (Productores Cárnicos Aliados) at Calle California and Porta Av. in Manga will vacuum-pack and freeze with a day or two's notice. Street vendors in Manga sell fruit at dawn and 'tinto' coffee from thermoses. City tap water is considered drinkable.
