Cartagena Yacht Fuel Options (Club de Pesca, Todomar, Santa Cruz & Rosales)

10° 24.9′ N · 75° 32.7′ W · approximate

Where to get diesel and gasoline in Cartagena: the Club de Pesca fuel dock next to the anchorage, the Todomar dock in Bocagrande, Marina Santa Cruz by dinghy, and the fuel station at Marina Rosales.

Practical

Coordinate is approximate, placed at Club de Pesca (OSM) as the closest fuel dock to the Manga anchorage. Options from the Club Náutico Cruiser's Guide: Club de Pesca fuel dock ('Estación de Servicio', VHF 71, tel 660 4597 / 660 6615) - diesel, gasoline, lubricants, ice and water; Todomar Marina - gasoline and diesel at the dock opposite the Convention Center where power boats are racked three high (tel +57 5 665 4177, cel +57 301 6052866); Marina Santa Cruz in Manga, just before the container docks - diesel and gasoline by dinghy, plus lubricants. OSM also tags a small-craft fuel station at Marina Rosales (10.40486 N, 75.52390 W). The national guide lists Club de Pesca's draft as 1.37 m (4.5 ft) - check depth at the fuel dock if you draw more. You cannot carry full jerry cans through the Club Náutico gate. Fuel quality: Colombian diesel (ACPM) carries about 10% bio content; it is hygroscopic in this climate - watch water separators, carry filters, and consider fuel polishing before departure (the guide lists a polishing contact, Hydrocleaner, cel 315 545 6821). Out on the islands, an ActiveCaptain contributor reported gasoline, diesel and LP gas available at Isla Fuerte (2018).
