Almirante Port Captain (port of entry)
9° 17.3′ N · 82° 23.7′ W · approximate
Almirante is a listed Panamanian port of entry, used mainly by yachts hauling out at the nearby boatyard.
Practical
Position is Noonsite's Almirante harbour point. Noonsite lists Almirante as a port of entry. Cruiser reviews of the Port Captain are mixed: waiting times, staff knowledge and fees have varied, and some boats were sent to Bocas Town to complete formalities (noforeignland). Bocas Town is the more reliable place to clear.
