Rodney's tiny seafood kitchen at the head of Hoosie Harbour on Cool Beer Lane, Seymour's, cooked to order and reached by dinghy through a mangrove creek. Cruisers call it one of the best seafood dinners in the Bahamas.

Everything is cooked to order, so call or WhatsApp ahead (a day's notice for dinner is best); ActiveCaptain lists opening as 10 am to 9:30 pm, cash. By dinghy from Calabash Bay North: follow the local float-marked channel across the Hoosie Harbour flats on a rising tide (one 2023 crew cleared the bottom one hour after low with the outboard tilted), tie up at the small park pier and walk about 100 ft. Pairs well with a walk to the Columbus Monument. One 2019 crew paid $59 for steamed lobster, conch, sides and beers (verify locally).
