Rum Cay reefs and wall dives
23° 38.0′ N · 74° 49.6′ W · approximate
Reef surrounds Rum Cay: staghorn coral at Sumner Point Reef, walls and tunnels on the southeast, and diving at Pinder's Point - with a lee side for almost any wind direction.
Practical
Wikivoyage mentions staghorn coral at Summer (Sumner) Point Reef and diving at Pinder's Point; the Sumner Point Marina site says reef is 'everywhere' and there is always a lee side. Point placed on the reef off Sumner Point (derived from the OSM coastline). Many reef patches are near the surface - navigate by eye in good light. Spearfishing in the Bahamas is free-dive with a Hawaiian sling only; follow Bahamas fisheries rules and get a fishing permit.
