Morgan's Bluff / San Andros Customs & Immigration

25° 10.4′ N · 78° 1.7′ W · approximate

San Andros Public Dock at Morgan's Bluff is an official Bahamas Customs port of entry; the harbourmaster calls the officers out to you.

Practical

Position approximate: placed at the Morgan's Bluff commercial harbour (ActiveCaptain 'Morgan's Bluff - 2'), where the harbourmaster's office is. Bahamas Customs lists San Andros Public Dock and San Andros Airport as Andros ports of entry. Fly the Q flag; captain only ashore. Walk round to the east side of the harbour to the harbourmaster, who has the forms and calls Customs; noforeignland reports Customs and Immigration come to the dock, a wait of about 30 minutes, and $100 total in fees for the visit (fees older than 2024: verify locally). Pay the cruising permit online via Click2Clear beforehand (see area notes). Earlier ActiveCaptain notes say the harbour bar will also phone Customs.
