Morgan's Bluff fuel dock (David Romer & Son)
25° 10.3′ N · 78° 1.8′ W
The harbour fuel station on the Morgan's Bluff commercial basin, the first diesel and gasoline on Andros for boats arriving from the Berry Islands or Florida.
Practical
Position from OpenStreetMap (fuel, 'David Romer & Son'). Not always manned: a 2014 ActiveCaptain review says find someone to call the attendant, who should arrive within about 30 minutes; a 2018 review bought diesel and ice here and was allowed to stay on the fuel dock overnight. In 2006 the pumps ran dry and a cruiser carried fuel in jerry cans from a road station. Older prices (diesel $5.90 a gallon in 2012) are out of date: verify locally. Water: free from the harbour taps (see the government dock entry). Depths about 10 ft in the basin channel.
Best for
Diesel, gasoline and ice at the north end
