Practical

Waterway Guide 20°57.453'N 73°40.742'W: 10 transient slips, vessels to 160 ft, approach/dockside depth 10/8 ft listed, cash only; noforeignland (2026) reports about 15 ft at low tide through most of the harbour, 13 ft against the middle of the concrete dock. Two wooden finger piers (about 80 ft) plus a roughly 300 ft hard wall; the port-side wall and ramp belong to the Royal Bahamas Defence Force - keep off. Docks stand 7-10 ft above the water, so rig fenders and a boarding ladder carefully, and expect dust when a barge unloads. Water by hose on the concrete dock when no barge is in; 30-amp power and ice listed by Waterway Guide; cold shower and basic restrooms; free trash; open WiFi ('Dock Master'). A Feb 2025 review paid $16.60/day for a 42 ft monohull (verify locally). Contact the dockmaster on VHF 16 ('Master Dock') before entering - the harbour is small; office usually open from 9 am, Sundays from 12 noon. Phone numbers seen: Waterway Guide lists harbour master Alreka Cartwright (242) 556-2712; noforeignland lists 242-339-2143 and WhatsApp +1 242-809-8761. The dock office can call Customs and Immigration to the dock.
