Flying Fish Marina (Clarence Town)
23° 6.1′ N · 74° 57.6′ W
A smart, rebuilt sportfishing marina in Clarence Town harbour, painted Caribbean yellow, with a pool, the Lighthouse Point restaurant, a small store and the only fuel dock on the island's Atlantic side.
Practical
ActiveCaptain: 18 slips, max LOA about 140 ft and beam 27 ft, approach and fuel-dock depth about 8 ft; diesel, gas and propane (propane through a local supplier, often next day). Dockage $3.75 per ft (2023 ActiveCaptain price; verify locally); the marina website lists monthly $2.25 and long-term $2.00 per ft per day (3-month minimum). Power 30, 50 and 100 A (daily charges, verify locally); RO water; showers free for guests; laundry tokens for guests only; trash $6 per bag for transients. Limited marine hardware and fishing gear; book exchange. VHF 16; reservations recommended. It is not a hurricane hole and can surge in the wrong wind. As of April 2025 it has no dinghy dock for visiting cruisers (use the government dock and walk round). Fish are cleaned into the basin, so 6-7 ft bull and reef sharks are always present: no swimming. Customs officers can be arranged through the marina, which bahamasmarinas.com lists as a call-ahead port of entry.
