An open roadstead off an abandoned marina project on the west coast between Simms and Thompson Bay, useful only as a tired-crew stop on the way down from George Town.
Practical
ActiveCaptain: not much protection except from the east; adequate holding. The Alligator Bay Marina project ashore was reported abandoned and used as a commercial wharf (2013); do not count on any services. Hurricane Melissa brought 'extreme flooding' to Alligator Bay in October 2025 (Nassau Guardian). Press on to Thompson Bay if the weather is poor.
