Turtle Rocks and Triangle Rocks

25° 40.1′ N · 79° 18.1′ W · approximate

The small rocks off the south end of South Bimini that frame the deep approach to the Sapona; Triangle Rocks is where Neal Watson's divers meet Caribbean reef and blacknose sharks.

Practical

Position is a rough placeholder between the south tip of South Bimini and the Sapona, derived from ActiveCaptain descriptions (the South Bimini anchorage lies 'due east between the southern tip of South Bimini and Turtle rocks', and the Sapona is approached 'between Turtle and Triangle Rocks'); plot the rocks themselves from your chart and do not navigate to this point. Neal Watson's Reef Shark Safari stops at Triangle Rocks first, then the Sapona. Snorkel only in settled weather; current runs along the bank edge.
