Bimini Barge wreck
25° 41.7′ N · 79° 18.9′ W · approximate
An ocean-going barge lying east-west on sand in 80-95 ft, almost in the Gulf Stream, so thick with fish that it can disappear behind them. A favourite deeper dive.
Practical
Position is a rough placeholder off South Bimini's western drop-off: the sources give depth and the note that it lies almost in the Gulf Stream but publish no coordinates. Do not navigate to it. Depth 80-95 ft (Guy Harvey Outpost) or about 100 ft (My Out Islands): advanced/deep certification. Currents can be strong because of the Stream: plan a guided, drift-aware dive with a surface marker, and stay away in any north wind against the Stream.
Best for
Advanced divers wanting a fish-packed deep wreck
