Fountain of Youth (South Bimini)
25° 42.5′ N · 79° 17.3′ W
A small limestone well beside the road to South Bimini Airport, marked with a plaque, that local tradition links to Ponce de León's 1513 search for the waters of eternal youth.
Practical
Position from OpenStreetMap (on the Airport Road). The well was carved out of the limestone by ground water thousands of years ago (bahamas.com). No fee or hours posted. Walkable from Bimini Cove Resort, or on Bimini Island Tours' South Bimini Ponce de León tour (from $150, read October 2026). Combine with the Shark Lab and the Bimini Nature Trail.
