There is no propane filling station in the Berry Islands. Cooking-gas bottles go to Nassau on the mailboat and come back about a week later.

Noonsite (Great Harbour Cay, Fuel & LPG, last updated about 2019): 'It is always worth carrying a spare tank of gas. In this part of the Bahamas, your tank would be sent to Nassau on the mailboat and return in a week.' Ask the Great Harbour Cay Marina office (VHF 16 or 14, +1 242-451-2007) to arrange it. Bring a spare full bottle and fill in Nassau or Bimini. Fittings and fill policies differ for foreign bottles, so verify locally.
