Old Bahama Bay Wahoo Charity Cup (West End)
26° 42.1′ N · 78° 59.5′ W
Grand Bahama's marquee November sportfishing tournament: two days chasing trophy wahoo off West End, based at Old Bahama Bay, with an awards dinner and auctions raising money for charity. It is a qualifying event for the Costa Offshore World Championship.
Practical
Position is Old Bahama Bay marina (OpenStreetMap). The 10th annual event is November 19 to 21, 2026 (weather back-up December 3 to 5, 2026); entry US$3,000 per team of four plus US$200 per extra angler or guest (2026, Zeffy registration page); organised by the non-profit Champion Charity Partners. In 2025 (9th edition, November 20 to 22) the format was boat check-in 4:00 to 6:00 pm on day one with a captains' meeting at 6:00 pm, then fishing days departing 6:00 am with weigh-in 2:00 to 4:30 pm; scoring on the aggregate weight of the three largest wahoo per day (HMY). Hotel rooms and marina slips are booked separately with Old Bahama Bay: expect the marina to be busy that week. A Palm Beach pre-party is held in October.
