Old Bahama Bay Fuel Dock (West End)

26° 42.1′ N · 78° 59.5′ W

The fuel dock just inside the Old Bahama Bay jetties, the first fuel in The Bahamas for most boats crossing from Palm Beach and the last before heading back.

Practical

Position is the OpenStreetMap waterway=fuel node at the marina entrance; Customs and Immigration clear yachts at the same marina. The marina sells high-speed 92-octane gasoline and diesel. Call 'Old Bahama Bay' on VHF 16, then switch to 10; dockmaster check-in 9 am to 5 pm; slips 1-242-602-5172. Fuel-dock hours are not published, so call ahead, especially early or late in the day. After Hurricane Matthew (2016), noonsite reported the marina open with no fuel, power or water for a time, so confirm fuel after any storm.

Best for

Fuelling up after or before the Gulf Stream crossing
