Old Bahama Bay Customs & Immigration (West End Port of Entry)
26° 42.1′ N · 78° 59.5′ W · approximate
Bahamas Customs and Immigration officers work on site at Old Bahama Bay, so you can clear in on the dock minutes after tying up. Cruisers on noforeignland rate the office well, and the dockmaster has been known to bring the forms to your slip.
Practical
Position is the marina fuel dock (OpenStreetMap waterway=fuel node); the office is at the marina, not at a separate government dock. Fly the Q flag, go straight to the marina and only the captain goes ashore. File Click2Clear before arrival. The resort's page says customs accepts cash only and quotes $150 for boats 30 ft and under and $300 over 30 ft, covering 3 people, $25 each additional, and two entries within 90 days. The national schedule published by Explorer Charts and Grand Bahama Yacht Club (2026) bands it as $150 up to 34-35 ft and $300 for 35-99 ft for a 3-month permit, $300/$600 for 12 months, so confirm which band applies and bring cash. The fee includes the cruising permit, a 3-month fishing permit and officers' attendance. The resort can pre-clear through Island Fast Pass. A 2012 cruiser guide lists Customs 242-346-6566 on site.
