Hike· Manjack (Nunjack) Cay· Bahamas — North
Manjack Cay trails
26° 49.4′ N · 77° 21.8′ W · approximate
Two marked paths cross Manjack's native forest from the anchorage beach to miles of empty Atlantic beach; one doubles as an outdoor gallery of sculptures sailors have made from buoys, rope, glass and lost flip-flops.
Practical
Approximate trailhead position near the south anchorage, from the OpenStreetMap outline. Trails start from the anchorage beaches (one guide names the start 'Palapa Beach') and cross to the ocean side. Free-roaming chickens wander the beach edges, and one charter guide notes iguanas and good birding in the forest; the island has no stores or utilities. Private property: stay on the marked paths. There is snorkelling on the reef off the ocean beach in settled weather.
