Bimini's main port of entry for yachts: Customs sits just inside the arched entrance of the Bimini Big Game Club, and Immigration is a short walk north in the pink Government Administration Building that also houses the police station.

Position is the ActiveCaptain 'Bahamas Customs House' listing. Complete Click2Clear (besw.gov.bs) before arrival and bring the PCR number; fly the yellow Q flag and only the captain goes ashore until cleared (Big Game Club customs page). Cruisers report going to Immigration FIRST (pink Administration Building, north of the Big Game Club on the west side of the King's Highway), then Customs at the Big Game Club (ActiveCaptain reviews 2022-2024). Hours: the Big Game Club says 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, subject to change; an ActiveCaptain listing says 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and notes a $75 after-hours fee, so call ahead (Customs 242-347-3100, Immigration 242-347-3446 per ActiveCaptain). Browns Marina says that for arrivals after 6:00 pm the dockmaster can call Customs to come to the marina. Tying up at the government dock to clear is no longer allowed (Waterway Guide 2026). Boats not staying at a marina pay the Big Game Club a customs landing dock fee (30 ft and under $30, under 60 ft $60, 130 ft and under $100, plus 10% VAT; pay by card at the resort front desk, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm). Anchored boats can land the dinghy on the beach or at the sea wall by Hero Park next to the Big Game Club (ActiveCaptain). Fees stated as new from April 1, 2026: cruising permit up to 30 days $150 (to 30 ft), $250 (31-50 ft), $350 (51-100 ft), $600 (over 100 ft); up to 12 months $500 (to 50 ft) / $1,000 (51-100 ft) / $3,000 (over 100 ft); each extra non-resident passenger beyond three aged 6+ pays $30; fishing permit $100 under 50 ft / $300 50 ft and over, valid 30 days only; separate anchorage fees for foreign boats not at a marina ($50 to 30 ft, $100 31-100 ft for up to 30 days).
