Six cottages, a strip of white sand and an open-air bar where the cheeseburger and cold Sands beer have become a rite of passage for anyone sailing the northern Exumas. Barefoot, unhurried, and the only place to eat between Highbourne and Staniel.
Practical
Walking distance from the Norman's Cay marina; there is a mooring ball off the beach and you can also dock. Hours are highly seasonal and it has closed for stretches in recent years - call or hail on VHF 16 before you commit, and reserve for dinner. Reservations/contact via MacDuff's Cottages or marina@normanscay.com. Cash is welcome; card acceptance is inconsistent.
