Sunny Cove State Marine Park (Resurrection Bay)
59° 54.8′ N · 149° 20.9′ W
The southernmost of the Resurrection Bay marine parks, with steep rocky cliffs and a semi-protected beach. A 2014 cruising log says the US Pilot names it the best anchorage in the bay.
Practical
Coordinate is the OSM bay point (a USGS name position). The best-anchorage claim is second-hand from that 2014 blog, so verify against the current Coast Pilot and chart. Alaska State Parks warns of few good all-weather anchorages, no public buoys and fast-changing weather, and describes this as the southernmost park in the bay. Wikipedia places it at the southern end of Fox Island. No soundings or holding-ground information was found.
