Wallilabou Anchorage (restaurant, bar and moorings)

13° 14.8′ N · 61° 16.3′ W · approximate

The small hotel, bar and restaurant beside the old Pirates of the Caribbean set, which owns the bay's handful of moorings and dock and is where most crews clear in, eat and fill up with water.

Practical

Coordinate is the unnamed OpenStreetMap restaurant node beside the film-set landmark on the south side of the bay (approx; matched by location). Moorings: a 2013 blog counted 3 or 4 mooring buoys, and noforeignland lists them as for rent. The mooring fee is paid ashore to the business, separately from any tip to the boat boy who hands you the pennant: a 2018 CSSN report cites EC$20 agreed for help onto a mooring, and a 2019 report paid EC$50 for a stern line taken to a palm (verify locally; no current published mooring rate). Agree prices first and pay only when done. The restaurant offers water, ice, showers, internet and garbage service, and monitors VHF 68 (Noonsite, Jan 2025). Customs and immigration officers come to the bay; in 2019 the bartender told crews when they arrived. Noforeignland reviewers report fees of about EC$70 for customs and immigration combined. A 2013 crew found the hotel's film museum run down and the dock surging after dark. Security: Noonsite says boats anchored off the Anchorage Hotel have been burgled even with a night watchman, so lock up and leave someone aboard if you can.
