The only proper yacht fuel dock on Carriacou: SOL diesel and gasoline, water and lubricants on Carriacou Marine's dock, with duty-free fuel once you have cleared out.
Practical
Coordinate is at Carriacou Marine's dock (approx, from the yard's published position and the OpenStreetMap piers). Hours: Monday to Saturday 8 am-5:30 pm; Sundays and public holidays 8 am-2 pm. Duty-free routine (Noonsite, Feb 2025): clear out with Customs at Carriacou Marine, get a form from the fuel attendant, have Customs stamp it, return it to the attendant, fuel up, pay at the office and hand the receipt back. Cash avoids the 4% card surcharge. Phone ahead on +1 473 443 6292 to ask about duty-free fuel. A November 2016 cruiser price of EC$8.35 per imperial gallon for diesel is long out of date (verify locally). LPG: bottles go to the Sol/Shell station in Hillsborough and may take several days because they are sent to Grenada for filling.
