Tobago's jazz festival tradition now lives on as Beachfront Jazz, part of the Tobago Jazz Music and Golf Weekend at the Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort on the south coast, held from April 30 to May 3 in 2026.

Position is the Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort, Lowlands (OpenStreetMap). The government-backed Tobago Jazz Experience (started as the Plymouth Jazz Festival in 2004, renamed in 2009, often staged at Pigeon Point Heritage Park) was scrapped by the Tobago House of Assembly for 2024 as unsustainable; its last edition was 2023. Beachfront Jazz is privately promoted; check the Tobago Jazz & Music Weekend Facebook and Instagram pages for dates and tickets. Store Bay is the nearest anchorage; get there by taxi. There is no regular annual sailing regatta on Tobago today; the old Angostura Tobago Sail Week, a May regatta that Yachting World reported celebrating its 25th year in 2007, no longer appears in current calendars, and the Great Race powerboat finish at Store Bay is the island's main boating event (see that entry).
