Suckhole Restaurant and Bar (Charlotteville)

11° 19.3′ N · 60° 33.0′ W

A barefoot restaurant and bar right on the sand of Man-o-War Bay at the west end of Charlotteville's beachfront, the easiest sit-down meal for crews on the moorings. The menu is unfussy and the portions large: grilled red snapper, breaded shrimp and curried chicken.

Practical

Position from OpenStreetMap (Bay Street, Charlotteville), which tags it as seafood and open 10am to 10pm daily; hours not confirmed by the restaurant, so verify locally. Land the dinghy at the Charlotteville jetty and walk west along the beachfront (a few minutes), or beach the dinghy in front if the swell allows. Visit Tobago (the island's tourism agency) lists it among Tobago's best dining views (2020). Cash in TT$ is safest; the village ATM is at the library. Prices not published; verify locally.
