Sharon and Phebe's (Charlotteville)

11° 19.3′ N · 60° 33.0′ W

Charlotteville's best-known local kitchen, on the corner of the main road down to the beach, with a covered upstairs veranda looking over the village and Man-o-War Bay. This is the place for curried crab, plus fresh fish, shrimp, chicken and beef.

Practical

Position from OpenStreetMap ('Sharon & Phebs'), a short walk from the jetty. Caribbean Beat (May/June 2016) recommends it for curried crab; a cruiser who anchored in Man-o-War Bay (BW Sailing, October 2010, published 2014) called dinner on the third-floor balcony the best meal of their Tobago trip. Hours and prices not published; ask in the village or call by in the afternoon to check if they are cooking that night. Alternative: Gail's, a simple seafood restaurant run from the porch of the owner's house right on the sea (Caribbean Beat 2016; Trip.com lists the address as Pirate's Bay Road), not mapped, so ask locally.
