Port St Charles Marina
13° 15.7′ N · 59° 38.7′ W
A luxury residential marina on a lagoon on the north-west coast, with a breakwater of superyacht berths, the only pump fuel dock in Barbados and an easy port of entry for boats arriving round the north end.
Practical
Position is Noonsite's marina-entrance waypoint (13°15'45"N, 59°38'40"W). Six visitor berths on the breakwater take yachts of about 60-250 ft LOA with a maximum draft of 13.5 ft (Superyacht Services Guide); berths have water and power but no toilets, showers or laundry (Noonsite, December 2025). Book ahead in winter. Call Port St Charles on VHF 77 or 16 (the OCC report adds 12) before arrival. Keep the small red buoys to starboard entering; Noonsite reports boats over about 35 ft may find manoeuvring in the basin tight. Lagoon rules: 3-knot no-wake zone, no engines left running, no discharge, no fishing in the marina, no swimming around the breakwater, and fish cleaning only at the fuel dock. Moorings outside the harbour take only very large yachts (over 250 ft; check with the Dockmaster). Smaller boats anchor off. Pier One restaurant and bar sits inside the breakwater with a dinghy dock cruisers can use. Speightstown's shops are a short walk.
