Point Bay Anchorage (Hamilton, Bequia)

13° 0.6′ N · 61° 14.6′ W · approximate

A small cove on the north side of Admiralty Bay below Hamilton, inside the same sheltered water but away from the town bustle. Good snorkelling around the point and an easy walk up to Fort Hamilton.

Practical

Position approximate: placed in the cove from the OpenStreetMap 'Point Bay' outline. noforeignland reviewers (2026): room for a handful of boats, good holding if you find sand, a few private moorings in the bay, and noticeably less rolly than nearby anchorages. Daffodil's base (Open Deck bar, fuel, water and laundry) is on this shore. Keep clear of the Devil's Table reef and its beacon at the north entrance to the bay when approaching.

Best for

A calmer night near town, and Fort Hamilton on foot
