Mount Qua Qua Hike
12° 6.5′ N · 61° 42.0′ W · approximate
Mount Qua Qua is a 713 m peak above Grand Etang. The ridge trail through mossy elfin forest is Grenada's classic half-day climb, with views to both coasts on a clear day.
Practical
Position is the OpenStreetMap peak (approx). Start at the Grand Etang visitor centre. Allow about 3 hours there and back (Wikivoyage), or half a day (Dietrich). The trail is muddy and slippery, and the top is often in cloud, so start early. A Forestry guide is recommended. Fédon's Camp, the 1795–96 rebel stronghold, lies near the mountain (GTA).
