Le P'ti Bateau (Grande Anse d'Arlet)
14° 30.1′ N · 61° 5.0′ W
A beach restaurant by the Grande Anse pontoon where some tables stand in the shallows, so you can eat with your feet in the water. The chef cooks traditional Creole dishes such as ouassous (crayfish) in coconut milk and fried fish with cassava.
Practical
Position is the OSM node; the tourism listing gives the address 108 avenue Robert Deloy but no map pin. Listing hours: Monday-Friday 10 am-4 pm, Saturday-Sunday 10 am-6 pm, so it is a lunch spot; prices €17-30 (listing, 2026). Also serves house cocktails and a children's (ti-moun) menu. An ActiveCaptain note (2014) said it sold water by the dock for about €3 per 100 litres if you bring your own hose and come between 10 am and noon (verify locally). It no longer does customs clearance.
Best for
