The small Grande Anse village behind the beach has convenience stores, a few shops, car rental and dive centres: enough to top up fresh food without sailing to Fort-de-France.
Practical
Position is La Providence convenience store (OpenStreetMap). ActiveCaptain (2014) says there is a small grocery each way along the main road, and car rental just up from Le P'ti Bateau (closed noon to 4:30 pm, verify locally). OSM also shows Abyss Plongée and Calypso Croisières in the village. For a supermarket, take the bus or a car to Trois-Îlets or Fort-de-France. The post office is at Les Anses-d'Arlet bourg (closed from 1 pm on Wednesdays, ActiveCaptain).
