Lambi's (Clifton) - closed
12° 35.8′ N · 61° 25.0′ W
For decades the big, open-sided, 'somewhat shambolic' (Lonely Planet) harbourfront institution in the middle of Clifton, with a guest house, supermarket and a famous buffet of local curries, stews, conch and fried fish. Older guides still send cruisers here, but Doyle reports it closed after Hurricane Beryl.
Practical
Position is the Lambi's building on the Clifton waterfront in OpenStreetMap (way 419602455). Its own site describes it as being in Clifton with a guest house, restaurant and bar (local seafood, chicken and beef, 'fully stocked bar') and a supermarket. TripExpert, citing Fodor's, describes a daily buffet of local specialties for all meals from November to May (about 50 dishes at dinner) and à la carte from June to October. Status: Doyle's Windward updates (2025) list Lambi's Restaurant and Lambi Supermarket and Restaurant as closed. Do not plan a meal here without confirming locally; use the Clifton restaurants that have reopened (for example Barracuda and Bougainvilla).
