Martinique's most famous beach: a long arc of white sand and leaning coconut palms at the island's southern tip, backed by a protected salt pond full of birds.
Practical
Position is from OSM. It sits on the Caribbean side just west of Pointe des Salines. Visorando notes small beach restaurants along the shore. The Trace des Caps coastal path starts at the far end of the car park. The Étang des Salines behind the beach is a protected wetland with a boardwalk and bird observatories.
