Goat Island (Speyside)
11° 18.0′ N · 60° 31.1′ W
A small private islet between Speyside and Little Tobago, wrongly linked by legend to Ian Fleming, with the Japanese Gardens reef off its southern tip.
Practical
Position is the island (OpenStreetMap). The story that it was Ian Fleming's retreat is disputed by his biographer and Ian Fleming Publications. Green iguanas and several lizard species live on it. A well-known birdwatching spot, best seen from the Speyside Lookout or on the boat to Little Tobago. Reefs surround it, and divers drift its back side at night.
