12° 31.1′ N · 61° 27.0′ W · approximate
A wild little bay on Carriacou's north-west coast under the High North forest: clear water, a reef for snorkelling, a beach reached otherwise only by trail, and Tim's beach bar ashore.
Practical
Coordinate is about 150 m off the beach, derived from the OpenStreetMap beach outline (approx). Noforeignland reviewers (2026): pretty, with good holding in sand, but often rolly, especially in northerly swell; worth a lunch or swim stop and good for hiking. A 2015 charter crew saw big surf on the rocks at the south end in a strong north-easterly and gave up on snorkelling, so treat it as a calm-weather stop. Pure Grenada: a calm bay with a sandy bottom and a reef with parrotfish, spotted drums, spiny lobster and resting rays, highly recommended for snorkellers. Nearby dive sites are Arc Du Vero and Triggerfish Alley.
Best for
Settled-weather lunch stop, snorkel and the High North trail
Season
Settled trades only; untenable in northerly swell (common Dec-Mar)
