Practical

Position approximate: the Water Island end of the OpenStreetMap 'Crown Bay - Water Island Ferry' route (way 38308035); the Coast Pilot says the ferry uses a small pier on Providence Point. Water Island Ferry (2026): from Crown Bay Marina (in front of Tickles) Monday to Friday 7 am, then hourly 8 am to 6 pm Monday to Saturday; Sundays and holidays hourly 9 am to 6 pm; from Phillips Landing 15 minutes past each hour (7:15 am weekdays, 8:15 am to 6:15 pm; Sundays 9:15 am to 6:15 pm); about 10 minutes each way. Fares: visitor US$10 one way, US$20 round trip; USVI residents US$6/US$12 with ID; kids US$5/US$10. Cargo per item each way: small box or wheeled bag US$2, large box or bag US$3, oversized US$5+ at the captain's discretion; no fuel or fuel cans. Tel 1-340-690-4159. Provisions: Wikipedia says Water Island has no significant commercial establishments, so there is no grocery store; buy food, ice and water at Crown Bay (Gourmet Gallery) or the Pueblo/Plaza Extra supermarkets and carry it over as ferry cargo. Dinghy's Beach Bar on Honeymoon Beach is the main place to eat and links a golf cart rental page. Boats anchored in Druif Bay can dinghy straight to Honeymoon Beach instead.
