Lee Bay (Great Camanoe)
18° 28.4′ N · 64° 32.4′ W · approximate
A quiet bay on Great Camanoe's west side, facing Guana Island, where boats anchor for snorkeling and a dive site with a lava-formed grotto close to shore.
Practical
Position approximate: placed in the bay on Great Camanoe's west coast, derived from the Wikipedia island position; confirm on a chart. Wikipedia says visitors often anchor at Lee Bay or Cam Bay (a national park and good snorkeling site). Dive BVI's Lee Bay site is on the south side of the bay: the highlight is a grotto in about 20 ft close to the island, with spotted lobster, banded coral shrimp and glassy sweepers (max 50 ft, novice). The island is residential and private ashore: no facilities. Daytime stop in settled trades; check swell before overnighting.
