Great Pond (East End Marine Park)

A 50-hectare mangrove-fringed salt lagoon behind Great Pond Bay, the second-largest salt pond in the Virgin Islands and one of St Croix's largest remaining mangrove stands.

Coordinate from GoToStCroix's listing (Wikipedia gives 17.7253 N, 64.6567 W). Part of the St Croix East End Marine Park; historically used for fishing, crabbing and salt gathering, with a substantial mangrove die-off in late 2015 (GoToStCroix). Good birding; the park visitor center is next to it.
