Practical

Coordinate is the airport (Wikipedia/GeoHack). Noonsite (April 2025): try the CBP ROAM app first; if it is not accepted, a trip to the CBP office at the airport may be required (about $100 round trip by taxi from the anchorage, or rent a car); airport CBP phone +1 340-778-0216. For departure, St Croix CBP offers a manual procedure unique to this island: complete CBP Form 1300 and Form I-418, email them to vesseldocumentdropbox@cbp.dhs.gov, and the approved documents come back by email as your exit clearance, with no airport trip. A cruiser report (after the 2017 storms) advises getting to the airport office before 4 pm. Coast Pilot: Christiansted is a customs port of entry; quarantine follows US Public Health Service rules.
