Brandywine Bay Anchorage

18° 24.9′ N · 64° 35.2′ W · approximate

A small south-coast bay between Road Town and East End, best known for the Brandywine restaurant on the bluff above, a Mediterranean bistro with views across the Sir Francis Drake Channel.

Practical

Position approximate: placed just offshore of Brandywine Bay Beach as mapped on OpenStreetMap. No mooring field is documented. The bay faces south onto the Sir Francis Drake Channel and is open to the channel chop, so treat it as a calm-weather lunch or dinner stop and confirm depth and holding on a current chart. Brandywine Estate Restaurant: reservations +1 (284) 495 2301 (BVI Tourist Board). Wikivoyage lists Brandywine Bay Restaurant above the bay as a splurge option and describes the beach as man-made, one of the few on the south shore. As of October 2026 the restaurant's old website (brandywine.vg) redirects to an unrelated charter company, so call ahead to confirm it is still operating before planning a dinner stop.
