The Royal BVI Yacht Club's last race of the year, sailed in mid-December from Road Reef and followed by the Commodore's Party and annual awards; the roll of honour runs back to 1981.

Royal BVI Yacht Club: Saturday, December 19, 2026 at 10 am, from the club at Road Reef Marina, Road Town; traditionally followed by the Commodore's Party and Annual Awards Ceremony. Sponsored by Golden Hind Chandlery since 2022 (previously O'Neal & Mundy, 2004 to 2021). Position is the club (OpenStreetMap). Other Royal BVI Yacht Club races on the 2026 calendar (BVI Tourist Board and the club): Latitude 18 Halyard Challenge (January 17), Governor's Cup (April 11 per the club page; the tourism calendar shows April 25; monohulls and multihulls welcome, first sailed 1997), BVI Dinghy Championships (May 16 to 17), Lowell Wheatley Anegada Pursuit Race (June 6), Back to School Regatta (September 19 to 20) and the Willy T Virgin's Cup (November 7, a race to the Willy T at Norman Island with a mandatory female skipper, first sailed 1975).
