The Southeast Asia Pilot notes a beach bar near the North Anchorage as a landmark and that the beaches here are accessible at all states of tide. Prices on Lipe: beer about 100 THB in bars, cocktails 200–250 THB (Wikivoyage; verify locally). Bars on this side are seasonal and may close in the SW monsoon.
