Lipe is the dive base for the whole Adang–Rawi–Butang group, with a dozen PADI and SSI centres running day boats to sites 20-60 minutes away, plus tank fills, gear hire and courses.
Practical
Wikivoyage lists Ko Lipe Diving (Walking Street, about 200 m from Pattaya Beach; this position; open 8am–10pm), Castaway Divers, Adang Sea Divers and Forra Diving on Sunrise Beach, Davy Jones Locker and Ocean Pro Diving (rebreathers, year-round) on Pattaya Beach, and Satun Dive Resort. Ko Lipe Diving School (KLD) quotes fun dives from 1,700 THB with gear, lunch and insurance, and full-day trips leaving at 8am and returning about 3pm. Park rules quoted by KLD: a scuba diving fee of 200 THB per diver per day and a mandatory one-time 70 THB insurance fee for in-water activities, on top of the park entry fee. Dive-the-world: best diving February–April, visibility often 25-30 m, water 27-30°C; avoid full and new moons for current.
