Siam Royal View Marina

12° 8.8′ N · 102° 16.2′ E

A small resort marina tucked inside the Khlong Son creek mouth at the island's northwest corner, the only full marina on the north end of Koh Chang. Inside, the water is deep and still, a rare thing in the eastern Gulf.

Practical

Noonsite position 12°08.8N 102°16.18E. Berth count differs by source: the Southeast Asia Pilot calls it a compact 24-berth marina averaging about 3 m; Noonsite (Jan 2019) gives at least 4 m inside. The approach channel is buoyed — entering from sea keep green to starboard and red to port — and is shallow: Noonsite says up to 1 m draft can enter at any tide, deeper boats wait for mid or high tide; the Pilot gives about 1 m at LAT. Pilot service on VHF 16 (Noonsite) or VHF 19/69 for a local guide (Pilot). Noonsite lists a fuel dock and pump-out at the marina, and a dry-storage area for 70–80 boats up to about 40 ft with three boat/engine mechanics; electronics, canvas and sails go to the mainland for repair, and parts come from Bangkok or Pattaya in a few days. Resort rooms and food on site; the ferry and main town are about 10 minutes' drive. All of this information is from 2019 or earlier, so call ahead to confirm berths, fuel and haul-out.
