Secret Buddha Garden
9° 29.0′ N · 99° 59.7′ E
A hilltop sculpture garden built from 1976 by a retired durian farmer, Khun Nim, high on one of Samui's tallest peaks, with Buddha statues, angels, musicians and streams.
Practical
Private site, not a temple; small entry fee charged locally (verify). The road up is very steep and the final climb is hard, so hire a 4WD taxi rather than ride a scooter. Pairs well with Na Muang or Hin Lat waterfalls.
Best for
A half-day inland outing
